Three nights. Four racing series. Concerts, celebrities, fireworks, wrestling and NASCAR’s most electric atmosphere. The Bass Pro Shops Night Race is taking over The Last Great Colosseum this weekend, Sept. 17-19.

Bristol Motor Speedway has always been built for big events.

When the lights come on at The Last Great Colosseum, the high banks surround a packed house and the engines fire, there’s an energy inside Bristol that is difficult to replicate anywhere else in NASCAR.

That atmosphere will be on full display this weekend as the Bass Pro Shops Night Race brings three consecutive days of racing, live entertainment and plenty of surprises to the Tri-Cities of Tennessee.

From Thursday night through Saturday night, fans have a full weekend of reasons to be at the track.

THREE NIGHTS OF RACING

The weekend gets underway Thursday, Sept. 17, with the ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series taking the green flag under the lights.

The ARCA Menards Series' Bush’s Beans 200 kicks off the racing at 5:30 p.m., followed by the UNOH 250 Presented by Ohio Logistics at 8 p.m.

And, the fun continues after the checkered flag.

Thursday night wraps with Bob Pockrass’ Foam Party with DJ Sterl the Pearl at the Food City Fan Zone Stage. The party gets underway around 10:15 p.m., giving fans a chance to keep the night going after the racing ends.

Friday brings the Food City 300 for the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series at 7:30 p.m. Once the final car crosses the finish line, country artist Tim Dugger will take the stage for a post-race concert.

By Saturday, Bristol will be ready for the biggest night of the weekend.

THE STARS COME OUT SATURDAY

The Bass Pro Shops Night Race takes center stage Saturday night, with the NASCAR Cup Series scheduled to run 500 laps and 266.5 miles around Bristol’s legendary .533-mile short track.

The day leading up to the race is packed, too.

Fans can take part in a fan track walk and catch a loaded edition of Trackside Live, featuring NASCAR stars Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin and Carson Hocevar, along with WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.

The lineup alone would make for a memorable afternoon at Bristol. The show, hosted by Kenny Wallace, John Roberts and Jose Castillo, begins at 4 p.m. at the Food City Fan Zone Stage.

Then, at 5:30 p.m., Brian Kelley will perform the pre-race concert before the focus turns toward the main event.

BRAD PITT GETS THINGS STARTED

Saturday's star power extends beyond the NASCAR garage.

Academy Award winner Brad Pitt will serve as Grand Marshal for the Bass Pro Shops Night Race and deliver the command for drivers to start their engines.

Once the green flag drops, NASCAR's best will battle for 500 laps under the lights at one of the most iconic tracks in the sport.

And when the checkered flag finally falls, Bristol will send fans home with a fireworks celebration.

THE FULL BRISTOL EXPERIENCE

For many fans, the racing is the centerpiece of the weekend. But the experience surrounding it is what makes a trip to Bristol such a memorable one.

There’s live music, driver appearances, camping, tailgating, fan activities and entertainment throughout the weekend. Add in the unique atmosphere created by Bristol’s steep grandstands and tight racing surface, and Saturday night becomes the kind of sporting event that sticks with you long after the final lap.

That’s particularly true for America’s Night Race, an event that has become one of the signature nights on the NASCAR calendar.

Three days of racing. Big-name entertainment.

A Hollywood star giving the command.

Country music.

Fireworks.

And NASCAR under the lights at The Last Great Colosseum.
